    Sandro Binelli

Sandro Binelli, the President of MAC Group, was born in Genoa in 1975 and has always been a great car enthusiast. His first professional contacts with the automotive sector date from 1993 and he worked on the various editions of Autostory, the classic car show staged at the Genoa fair grounds form 1993 to 1999. In 1995 he founded MAC Events , a company dedicated to the organization of events for the most prestigious European classic car clubs (Mercedes Benz, Lamborghini, Morgan) and leading coachbuilders (Touring Superleggera, Zagato). The new company also began organizing its own classic car events (it was during the 1996 edition of the Corsica Autoclassica that Binelli met Gianni Agnelli).

In 1999, MAC Events was identified by BMW as the most appropriate company for developing marketing strategies associated with the MINI Community. It organized a series of MINI roadshows in Italy and MINI presentations and parties on the occasion of the MINImucchio rallies. This collaboration then extended to the BMW brand itself, with the organization of the Summer and Winter Tours and the press launch of the new BMW Series 1.

Since 2003 MAC Events has also worked for FIAT Auto, with particular reference to Alfa Romeo, the lead marque of the Coppa Milano-Sanremo, an historic event (the first edition was held in 1906) organized by the Milan Automobile Club and brilliantly revived by Binelli. In 2004, the firm organized the 50th “birthday” celebrations for the Giulietta in Milan and in 2006 an event entitled “Spider, una storia di emozioni”. MAC Group recently coordinated a fleet event for General Motors. Since 2007 Sandro Binelli has been the General Secretary of the Mille Miglia Organizing Committee.
