The Organizing Committee of the Mille Miglia would like to express their condolences upon the death of Andrea Curami, the historian and appassionate of the Mille Miglia. Curami worked with us, as the official historian of the Mille Miglia Museum and as the Technical Commissioner for many Mille Miglia regularity races. He wrote several books on the history of the automobile and in particular, of the Mille Miglia, which he knew more about than almost any other expert. In the last few years, Andrea Curami gave us the benefit of his precious experience with the event as our historical consultant.
