The Mille Miglia 2009 will take place from Wednesday, May 13 (optional), to Sunday, May 17, 2009.

Entry application is open and closes on December 20, 2008 at 12 midnight.

Those who wish to participate in the event must register on the website by this date. They will obtain a log-in identity and a password which will be used to access the on-line entry form. This is divided into 9 parts. When all parts have been filled in, they will be given an entry registration number.

It will then be necessary to attach the following on-line:

• an FIA Heritage Certificate and/or CSAI papers and/or an FIVA Passport
• as many documented historical news articles about the car as possible, including those of previous owners
• photographs of the car

At the same time as entry registration on-line is made, a non-transferable certified check made out to MAC Group S.r.l, for 5,775.00 Euros including VAT (for entry fees) should be sent to MAC Group S.r.l. - Mille Miglia, Corso Torino, 1/7 - 16129 Genoa – Italy by registered air mail letter. The on-line entry registration number must be written on the check.

Applications submitted with incomplete or false information will not be accepted, nor will applications without documentation, without photographs or without entry fees. The registration date of the car will be considered the date the entry fees are received.

For information as to the status of your entry registration, all you have to do is check the web-site.

From February 1, 2009 the results of the committee’s decision as to whether your car’s entry has been accepted or not will be shown on-line in the reserved area. To provide further confirmation, a registered air-mail letter will be sent directly to you as well. If the car has not been accepted, the entry fee (minus bank handling fees) will be returned by wire transfer to the bank account shown on your entry registration form.

If your car was not accepted on February 1, it may still have been placed on the waiting list of cars for the event, to substitute any renunciations or cancellations before the event starts. You will be informed of your status on the waiting list in the letter sent to you.
